Set up your payout account with Whop

SoundSeam uses Whop to manage producer payout onboarding and fund access.

Complete setup

1. Open Payouts.
2. Choose Complete setup.
3. Finish the identity, business, and payout-method steps in the Whop portal.
4. Return to SoundSeam and refresh the page.

Depending on your state, the button may instead say Manage Whop setup or Manage funds in Whop.

Common account states

• Not started / Onboarding required: setup is incomplete.
• Verification pending: Whop is reviewing submitted information.
• Payout method required: identity may be complete, but a destination still needs to be added.
• Ready: SoundSeam can transfer eligible earnings to Whop.
• Restricted or paused: open the portal for the specific requirement.

If the status does not update

Confirm you finished the flow using the same SoundSeam account, then reopen Payouts. Browser privacy settings can interrupt the return from the external portal; completing the portal and refreshing SoundSeam is safe.

Use legal information exactly as it appears on your identity and financial documents. Repeatedly creating new payout accounts can slow resolution.

If the portal says setup is complete but SoundSeam still shows a setup action after refresh, contact support with your username and the status shown. Never send identity documents or bank details through the general contact form unless support provides a secure upload path.
