Use the right report for customer orders, cash movement, and month-end records.
SoundSeam separates customer activity from payout movement so you can answer different questions without mixing them together.
Use Sales when you need to identify what a customer bought, the purchase date and payment status, the product and licence involved, gross and net transaction details, or the purchase ID needed for support.
Use Payouts to see funds still in settlement, the next expected transfer, transfer history and status, and recent net-revenue activity.
Download a statement when the month becomes available and store it with your accounting records. A statement is a period summary, not a live bank balance. Late refunds, disputes, or corrections can appear as adjustments in a later period.
Start with one purchase ID. Follow it from the sale detail to its settlement or adjustment entry, then check whether a collaborator split applies. Comparing individual IDs is more reliable than subtracting two dashboard totals that cover different dates or states.
SoundSeam reports can support your bookkeeping, but they are not tax advice. Use the transaction currency, dates, and statement totals with the rules that apply where you live.
