Choose the right beat licence before checkout

Choose a licence based on what you plan to release, not only on the cheapest file format.

Answer these questions first

1. Do you need only an MP3, a lossless WAV, or individual stems?
2. Will the song be monetized?
3. How many audio streams, video streams, copies, and free downloads do you realistically expect?
4. Will you release a monetized music video?
5. Do you need radio or paid live-performance rights?
6. How long does the licence last?
7. Does the beat contain a disclosed third-party sample?
8. Do you need exclusivity, or is a non-exclusive licence enough?

Understand the tradeoff

MP3 and WAV tiers are simpler and less expensive, but often have lower usage limits. Trackout gives your engineer stems. Unlimited generally removes listed numerical limits but can still be non-exclusive. Exclusive removes the beat from future sales after completion, but it does not automatically erase valid licences sold earlier.

Before paying

Expand and read the full terms shown for that beat. Producers can customize licences, so a tier name does not guarantee identical rights across SoundSeam.

If your planned use falls outside the terms, contact the producer before checkout or make an Exclusive offer when available. Keep any custom agreement in writing.

After purchase, save both the delivered audio and the PDF licence. The PDF tied to your order is the cleanest record of the terms you bought.
